Biography
He started fencing almost by chance, thanks to advice given to him by a gentleman while waiting at the barbershop. His brother Riccardo (who is now an umpire) also took part in the course. After 4 years as a purely foil fencer, he decided to combine his original weapon with the sabre, which has since become his winning choice. His victory at the 2004 Under 18s World Championship in Bulgaria opened up endless opportunities for him. He grew up with the legend of Aldo Montano, with whom he then shared many successes, with team bronze in London 2012 among them. He has also taken part in a TV show, but his passion has just one name and that name is sport, in its entirety: he is a lover of swimming and basketball, but of tennis above all.
