Biography

He only discovered the track in the spring of 2016, through Student competitions. He was spotted as a student in the 2017 national indoor review, second in the 60m and third in the 200m under the guidance of Valentina Piras, while still continuing to play football. Since 2018 he has focused exclusively on athletics, coached by Francesco Garau, with a double Italian win among the juniors and a remarkable time of 10.37 (+2.3) in the 100 metres, one of the best times ever, on his debut in the category. He was the last runner in the 4x100 relay that won Italy the silver at the 2019 European U20 Championships. Returning from muscular problems, he improved his time to 10:31 in the 100m in 2020. In 2021, he showed a clear improvement on his seasonal debut with 10.13. He graduated from high school studying sports, and lives and trains in Oristano.
