Biography

A life and a career carried out in parallel with his twin, Osama, who won the bronze on the 3000 steeplechase at the Under 23s European Championships in 2015, ahead of Ala, who came fourth in that race. Zoglami arrived in Italy with his family at the age of two, but managed to obtain citizenship, which his parents had never asked for, in 2013, on the immediate eve of the European juniors. Growing up in Valderice, in the Trapani area, until the age of 17, he mainly played football as a defender and athletics was just a summer hobby. He was initiated by Enrico Angelo in the middle distance.  Since 2012, he has instead chosen to move to Palermo to be trained by Gaspare Polizzi, coach of the great Totò Antibo.
