Biography
He has played football, swimming, tennis and volleyball, but in 2008 he came across athletics with cross-country and middle-distance running. In August 2009 he began to devote himself to racewalking under the guidance of former Italian athlete Antonio Lopetuso, finishing fifth at the Italian junior championships a few weeks later. In his international debut he came fifth as a junior in the World Championships in 2012. He grew up in Andria and moved to Castelporziano in November 2013 to be coached by Patrizio Parcesepe. Since October 2020 he has been training in Tivoli with Riccardo Pisani. He loves running, especially during winter training, and is a fan of Caribbean dance. He has a diploma in accounting and is studying sports science at the University of Foggia.
