Biography

Thanks to Francesca, Italy is back in competition at the Games in K1 200 after 9 years. Originally from Trieste, born in 1993, the Italian competitor started winning medals from a very young age. She has a world silver in K2 won in 2017 in Racice together with Susanna Cicali. Passionate about engines, she also wins outside of the water. In fact, amongst her trophies, there is also a degree in dietetics obtained thanks to a thesis on the eating habits of sportsmen and women. She will surely arrive in Tokyo with the right hunger for victories.
