Biography

She was a rhythmic gymnast initially, but discovered athletics at the age of nine by chance, seeing a training session following her brother's football match. She attended the Biotekna Marcon youth courses, distinguishing herself as a sprinter under her first coaches, Federico Sottana and Alessandro Pavan. A lap of the track is her distance, and at the beginning, with hurdles, she was already experienced as a pupil. Her remarkable progress in 2016 brought her within three hundredths of the Italian junior record with 53.35. At the 2017 European U20s in Grosseto she reached the individual final, as well as the 4x400 with the national category record (3:35.86). At the 2021 European Indoor Championships she became the Italian record holder in the indoor course (3:30.32) in the 4x400. She prefers to train on the Marcon track. During competitions she always uses the same elastic hair band as a good luck charm, and her idol athlete is the American Allyson Felix. She studies languages at Ca' Foscari.
