Biography
As a child he go to the races to watch his father Flavio, who passed on his love for cycling. From Buja in Friuli, like Alessandro De Marchi, he made his début on two wheels at 4 years of age. Then, after some experiences in swimming, karate and judo, he focused on the family sport (his younger brother Matteo is also a cyclist). Last year, in Berlin, he found himself catapulted from reserves to a spot on the Italian national team that won the bronze medal and set the new Italian team pursuit record. In Tokyo, he will be trying to continue on his quest, in first class, towards the Olympic finish line.
