Biography
Marta has always been greatly interested in sports, and before she was tacking in the Gulf of Cagliari, she experimented with basketball, mini volleyball and artistic gymnastics. Then, at the age of 8, her passion for windsurfing blossomed, following in the footsteps of her father, who was a member of the Windsurfing Club Cagliari along with his friends. In the youth categories, she wins every possible competition thanks to her undisputed talent. At the end of 2017, to support the Olympic campaign and along with her ‘colleague’ and fellow Sardinian Carlo Ciabatti, she launched the “Ajò to Tokyo2020” project, aimed at seeking sponsorships from companies and institutions across the island. All of Sardinia is now rooting for her and Marta is ready to take on this latest challenge.
