Biography
Her love for water and the sea was passed down to her from her grandfather, and as a result she studies Naval Engineering at the University of Trieste and has dedicated her life to rowing. She is a member of Canottieri Timavo, a club based in her hometown. She has won several Italian titles, then in 2018 she won the Under 23 World Championship in the double lightweight with Silvia Crosio. The following year marked her move into the seniors, along with two important successes: the European bronze medal in the double with Stefania Gobbi and 7th place in the World Championships, which secured her place in the Olympics. A qualification that is even more valuable because the Italian women’s double team has not taken part in the Games for 13 years. Her motto is: “shoot for the moon: even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars”.
