Biography

From Australia to Italy, and all for love. When she was 16 years old in Sydney she met Matteo, a boy with whom she shared the same passion for sport, and decided to move to Turin with him, where she married him and took his surname. Back home, she played basketball, but after an injury she was advised to try rowing, and she went on to win several national titles at the junior level, but never managed to compete for the Australian national team. With the Italian team, however, she has already given excellent results, including a silver medal (in Four, Poznan 2020) and two bronze medals at the European Championships, the first in 2017 with Stefania Gobbi and the second in 2019 with her current partner, Aisha Rocek. Nowadays she is trained by her father-in-law, Mauro Tontodonati, who wants to keep taking her higher and higher.
