Biography

Her speciality, the C1 slalom, will debut for the first time at the Olympic Games in Tokyo. During the 2019 World Championships, Marta was immediately able to qualify for the five-ring event. Already the winner of three junior medals - two bronze and one silver - she grew up in the Canoa Club Ferrara, where her father Luca is president. She loves sport in all its forms, but she only managed to feel that she has a natural and innate talent for canoeing. She has a very special relationship with water, as that is where she feels truly in tune with nature. Competition during races fills her with adrenaline and strength, and she manages to give the best of herself in those high-pressure moments. Thanks to her involvement in the sport, she can also satisfy her desire to travel. She plays the ukulele and in her free time, she enjoys going out and spending time with her friends.
