Biography
He was born in Russia, but when he was 5, Italy became his home, because he was adopted by a Lombardy family along with his brother Alexander. As a small child, he participated in various sports: football, where he played in the goal, but also swimming and Alpine Skiing, before discovering track & field. Since then, he has joined Atletica Vis Nova of Giussano, where he also trains with friend and teammate Filippo Tortu. He studies Physical Education and is specialised in the 400 metres, a race in which he became under-20 European champion in 2017. With the senior national team, he participated in the 4x400 metre relay, finishing 6th both in the 2018 European Championship and in the 2019 World Championships.
