Biography

She began to practice track & field in 2005 after five years of Artistc Gymnastics, following in the footsteps of her father, Giovanni, finalist in the 4x100 metres in the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics. In 2010, she achieved one of the results she is most proud of: in the Singapore Youth Olympics, she won the bronze medal in the mixed relay, with the “Swedish” format, running the 200 metres. After some physical problems, in 2014 she decided to move to Rieti under the technical guidance of Roberto Bonomi. Between 2017 and 2018, she took home three bronze medals from the Taipei University Olympics (200 m) and from the Tarragona Mediterranean Games (100 m and 4x100 m). Confirmation of her consistent growth arrived at the Doha World Championships where, racing as third runner, she contributed to establishing the new national 4x100 relay record, earning finale and Olympic pass. In Tokyo, she crowned one of the two biggest dreams of her life: the second, after earning her degree in medicine in 2019, would be to become a paediatrician.
