Biography
He played football for ten years in Bolzano Vicentino, but it was in track & field that he achieved his most important results. He has earned various Italian titles in his career and he also set the national record in the 400 metres. For two years he lived in America, where he had the chance to train in Florida with some of the best athletes on the international scene. Back in Rieti, he trained under the guidance of Maria Chiara Milardi. Track & field is a passion he also shares with his fiancée, Maria Benedicta Chigbolu, but when he has some time for himself, he loves watching films (Quentin Tarantino is his favourite director) and travelling. After being called up as early as the 2016 Rio Games, he will once again be one of the protagonists in the next Italian expedition.
