Biography
Cycling is a family affair. Grandpa Alfredo taught him and his twin brother, Daniele, how to ride. Dad Mauro, on the other hand, shaped a passion that became a job and later synonymous with success. He won with the Italian relay team at the 2012 World Championships in Saafelden and at the European Championships in Moscow in the same year, also taking the individual U23 bronze. In 2014 he won his first overall title on his home track. Since then he has collected an impressive series of good results at World and European events, placing on the podium both with the mixed relay and at the individual level. He loves spending time with his friends and is very fond of riding his motorbike, which he also uses for training alongside the gym. He left the Carabinieri team after 10 years to try something new with the Santa Cruz Pro Team. He seeks to speed ever faster into the future.
