Biography
Now that he knows what it means to participate in the Olympic Games and win a medal, he expects nothing less than to feel that singular thrill once more. In Rio 2016, he took the bronze in the coxless pair with Giovanni Abagnale, a pair from Campania which formed just before the Games, giving a winning performance in the most important event. Stubborn and competitive since he was a child, he found rowing to be the best way to let this part of his character shine. It all started when he would watch his brother Fabio competing, feeling that he wanted to follow in his footsteps by taking up the sport and setting aside his passion for football.
