Biography
His passion for the track was passed on to him by two great figures in the discipline, Cipriano Chemello and Attilio Benfatto. The latter was also his first teacher, together with brothers Sandro and Marino Bettuolo. Francesco's tale began at UC Mirano, a club to which he belonged from a very young age. He brought home many Italian titles on the track and was successful internationally. He revelled in podiums, records and the sound of success within the quartet of an incredible four-man team and, individually, in the Madison (European bronze medal in 2020). After coming sixth in Rio 2016, he wants to play a leading role in another unforgettable experience.
