Biography

In Rio 2016, she was the first Italian boxer to participate in the Olympics. In Tokyo, she becomes the Italian team player to be able to tell of two five-ring experiences. The 23-year-old from Torre Annunziata, nicknamed “The Butterfly”, is predestined. Her passion for boxing blossomed at the age of 12, thanks to her sister Lucia and she immediately gifted her a lot of satisfaction. On her noticeboard, a Junior World Cup, a Youth and a silver at the Youth Olympic Games and, from 2019, a continental gold in the 57 kg all stand out. When she ‘grows up’, she wants to continue her career as a policewoman but, before that, she has to write new pages of this discipline, hovering in the Tokyo ring.
