Biography
At 16, he left Sardinia to pursue his dream and moved to the National Rowing Centre in Piediluco. He discovered his sport after being intrigued by his brother, then dedicated all his time and energy to it, achieving excellent results even in the junior categories. Passionate about the sea and watching TV (“Money Heist” being his favourite series), his trophy case features five European (2020 gold medalist) and four world medals, with participation in Rio 2016 to boot. On that occasion, in the lightweight coxless four he finished at the foot of the podium, his challenge now being to improve upon that result to return to Oristano with an Olympic medal.
