Biography

After Rio 2016, she was named the captain of the Italian Women's gymnastics team. At 24, she is the veteran of the group and this will be her second participation at the Olympic Games. However, after narrowly missing the podium five years ago, this time round she is aiming to bring home a medal from Tokyo. Enrolled for a degree course in Communication sciences, she has a natural passion for fashion. When not training, she loves going out and shopping. She had a chance to meet her lifetime idol, Pietro Mennea, and - since then - she has been repeating the words he shared with her to bear with all sacrifices demanded by her sports: “Hard work pays”.
