Biography
The Fiamme Oro épée athlete has a respectable résumé: a variety of world and European achievements in different categories, ranging from the Under 17, Under 20 and Under 23 categories, to receiving a medal on the Olympic podium in Rio 2016. Representing the new Italian fencing generation in Brazil, he will surely come to Tokyo with the knowledge that he features amongst the best interpreters of this speciality sport in the world, holding not only the world champion silver medal from Dusseldorf, but also the second place in the world ranking from last season. Born in Foligno, he has always been loyal to his homeland, and he has found a way to give back to his home territory in the current season: under the project “"Una stoccata per l'Umbria”, every hit will donate one euro to ‘Croce bianca’ of Foligno, a Public Service Organisation . A fan of rock music, Pink Floyd and Radiohead feature among his favourite bands.
