Biography
The game of Basketball is a family matter for the Vitali´s. His parents both played at a high level, as did his older brother Luca with whom he played in 2016 in Brescia. He grew up in the youth ranks of Virtus Bologna, the team with which he made his Serie A debut in 2008, and has done well in the Spanish and German championships. He won a Silver Medal at the Under 20´s European Championship in 2011 and played in three European Championships (one Under 18´s and two Under 20´s). With the Experimental team, he played at the 2013 Mediterranean Games in Mersin. Following an absence of 17 years, his efforts have contributed to bringing Italy back to the Olympic Games. Tokyo´s parquet floor means everything to him.
