Biography
He grew up in the youth ranks of Virtus Bologna and made his first team debut in Italy's Lega Basket Serie A on 6 January, 2008. In the summer of 2019 he moved to Olimpia Milano after being named best Italian player of the 2018/2019 season and with Armani he won the 2020 Supercup. Wearing Italy´s “azzurro”, Moraschini played in all the European youth championships (U16's, U18's and U20's) winning the Silver Medal at the 2011 Under 20´s European Championship in Bilbao, Spain. In 2013 he took part in the Mediterranean Games in Mersin, Turkey, with the National Experimental team and now, with the National A team, he will play in the Games par excellence: the Olympic Games, after having contributed in bringing Italy back to the five-ring event where it had been absent for 17 years.
