Biography
At youth level, he immediately made his standing clear, excelling in his category at the World Championships and shining in various specialities, from backstroke to dolphin and freestyle. In 2017 he won his first senior Assoluti title and escalated dramatically. He collected international podiums, also winning gold at the Mediterranean Games in Tarragona, and at the World Championships he was the talk of the town, swimming one of the sprint sections that led the relay team to beat the Italian record. A great display of competitiveness at the recent European Championships in Bupadest earned him an invitation to the Games.
