Biography
Ruiu was introduced to the barbell at the age of 14, by a friend who convinced him to go to the gym and now he enjoys the five-ring dream. The “Olympics, for him, is everything, the most beautiful thing that can exist” and now he will experience it directly from the platform. The 20-year-old from Sassari already has a European Junior title won in Bucharest in 2019. His father, a mechanic, passed on to him a passion for engines, especially motorcycling and motoring and, when he is not competing, he follows his idols Tony Cairoli Valentino Rossi. He’ll arrive in Tokyo at full throttle.
