Biography
She has been diving since she was 5 years old, keeping to her superstitious tradition: eating chocolate biscuits before every important competition. In 2015 she finished just short of the podium at her first international final in Rostock in the 1m springboard, a European Championship that was won by Tania Cagnotto. Having grown technically over the years, she collected podium places and medals from both the 3m and the synchronised diving with Chiara Pellacani. Some injuries, especially in 2016, slowed her down but didn’t dull her ambition. In her free time she enjoys walking her dog and dancing to Reggaeton with her friends. She graduated in Kinesiology with a thesis on “Sport and doping”. Now, however, her attention is on the Games, the dream of a lifetime.
