After 17 years, Italian basketball returns to the Olympic Games and this feat also bears Rulli’s signature. As with her historic world gold won in 2018 in Manila, Philippines. Born in Rome, Rulli fell in love with basketball thanks to her parents and her sister, although, at the age of 6, after her first all-male training session, didn't want to know any more about the game. On the bulletin board, she also has a degree in Psychological Sciences and Techniques and a specialisation in Clinical Interventions in Social Contexts. In her free time, she also manages to be a mini-basketball coach. Her motto is “Come and try it as you’ll have fun”. In Tokyo she’ll do the same.
