Biography
He first stepped onto the piste when he was just 7 years old, initially as a foil fencer. At 16 he succumbed to the charm of the sabre, the instinct of moving and thrusting, under the advice of maestro Vincenzo Castrucci. His victory at the under 20s European Championship opened doors to a successful future for him, preceding the individual bronze and team gold he received at the continental review in 2013 in Zagreb. His arrival onto the world stage has entailed an unstoppable growth, but one which hasn’t influenced his training. A graduate in political science, he wants to pass on his passion and experience to young people and is passionate about many other disciplines, including basketball and tennis. He loves to travel and have fun all around the world.
