Biography
At the age of 15 he made his Serie A debut with Chiavari Nuoto, the team of his city, and at 20 he was already in the national team which finished European runners-up. Then, a setback due to a series of surgical operations caused by a bad appendicitis that put his health in serious risk. Back in the water to start from where he left off, he lost the opportunity of going to Rio 2016. In his family, water polo is the norm, both parents and siblings are or have been athletes, but no one has won as much as he who last year also became a world champion. In his rebirth, a call-up to the Olympic Games is not out of place.
