Biography
Lorenzo took up shooting at a very young age in the TSN shooting club in Florence. He grew up under the guidance of Aldo Vigiani and with the advice of the three times Olympic champion Niccolò Campriani. Technical and mental teachings which have already been put to good use in a winning career at junior level whose apex was the 2013 European title. Having participated in the Changwon World Championships, his first big event as a protagonist “with the grown-ups” was the European Games in Minsk, where he only missed out on the finals by a very small margin. Only a few months later, he took part in the European Championships in Bologna, where in addition to reaching the final in the 3-position Rifle, he obtained a pass to the Olympic competition in Tokyo.
