Biography
In 2007, at the age of 11, she was in the stands in Ronchi dei Legionari during the pre-Olympic tournament that saw the Netherlands overtake Italy on a tie-break and obtain a pass for Beijing 2008. Twelve years later, as reigning European champions, she took revenge for the entire national team, by qualifying for the Tokyo Olympic Games on Dutch soil. The twenty-four-year-old Friulian started playing softball as a child, and after playing in all the youth categories, she made her national debut in 2013 when she was still playing in the Italian A2 series. Reaching the topflight in the following year, she received a scholarship in 2016 to attend the Chipola College of Marianna in Florida, where she played in the NJCAA championship reaching the national finals.
