Biography
Born and raised in the States, she had an overwhelming desire to wear the blue shirt, and following recognition of her Abruzzi origins after a three-year wait, she made her debut with the national team at the Utrecht pre-Olympic tournament. It was not easy to fit into a well-matched Italian team that had just won the continental title, but the 26-year-old from Orlando was able to make a useful contribution thanks to the experience gained in four seasons in the American professional league. After completing her studies in psychology at Auburn University in Alabama, she remained with her college team where she took on the role of Assistant Coach.
