Biography
Gritty and sunny like his Puglia, her path in swimming has been one of small steps but constant growth. She has been through all the stages: from the Youth Olympic Games, to the Mediterranean Games and the Universiade, right up to call-ups with the senior national team. The first important results came in 2018 at the European Championships in Glasgow where she managed to win a bronze medal in the 100m butterfly, a distance in which a year later, she came fourth at the Gwangju World Championships, setting the new Italian record (57 "04). A graduate in Sciences of motor and sports activities from the University of Foggia, she is preparing to take part in her first Olympic Games, and she will do so with the smile that characterises her and, at every stroke, with the memory of her brother Silvio who swam with her.
