Biography
He started swimming as a child, following in the footsteps of two brothers. His first coach was Attilio Garbati, his uncle, while now it is Christian Galenda, a coach in the Fiamme Gialle staff and Stefano Morini's assistant. At the 2018 Glasgow European Championships, he helped bring the 4x200m freestyle relay to the final, of which a year later, he was holder of the Gwangju World Championships where he finished fourth with a new national record.
