Biography
Just like her twin sister Alice, she started her life in sport with acrobatic dance, but later found her true love in artistic gymnastics. Having trained at the historic Andrea Doria in Genoa, a few years ago she moved to Brescia along with her sister in order to join the Brixia academy, under the guidance of the TD Enrico Casella. At the youth level, she was a star athlete at the EYOF in Gyor in 2017, where she brought home and incredible 5 medals (silver on the beam and in the individual and team all-round, and two bronzes in the finals of her specialities, the vault and parallel bars). At the European Championships in Glasgow in 2018, she won the Junior title in the vault, as well as success in the team competition. Specialised in the vault, during her first experience in the Seniors she just missed out on the medal in the European Championships in Poland in the final of her favourite apparatus. At the World Championships in Stuttgart, she helped to bring Italy to the podium in the team competition: a historic result which the gymnastics team had not seen in 69 years.
