Biography

Climbing will be one of the new Olympic disciplines in Tokyo and from the moment the 23 year-old found out about it, he has been preparing for this goal. When he was little, he would climb on everything in the house and his parents decided to exploit this predisposition, taking him to the gym to train. In 2011, he joined the youth national team, with which he also won a gold medal, but his biggest success came in 2019 in Japan at the World Championships, during which he achieved a historical victory for Italy in the speed speciality. He loves the adrenaline of the competitions that transforms him and keeps him focused solely on the goal to be achieved. His victory is already being able to say that he has arrived this far, but now he does not want to settle.
