Her powerful spikes and her explosiveness at 22 made her one of the faces of Italian volleyball. Born in Cittadella to Nigerian parents, she started playing volleyball at 12. Success came soon in form of the Under 18 World Championships gold medal and the Under 20 World Championships bronze medal in 2015. In the same year, she was called to the senior team with which she participated in the 2016 Rio Games. Pivotal to clinching the World Championship 2018 silver medal, she was also named the tournament's best opposite hitter. Considered one of the world’s most talented women volleyball players, her sense of humility and drive for victory remain intact.
