Biography

At 16, she debuted with the National Team, at 17 she won the Under 18 World Championships and was called to the 2016 Rio Olympic Games team at just 18 years of age. An early bloomer, she spent years in the gym in her beloved Sardinia with her mother Caterina, a volleyball player and coach. Initially, she would have opted for horse riding but volleyball had the upper hand in the long run. She tried all positions, initially playing as middle blocker and opposite hitter, before finding a spot as setter at Club Italia where she realised that she had a bright future in that position. Though things did not go as expected in Rio, in Tokyo she will leave no stone unturned to fulfil her dream to the fullest.
