Biography
He won the ticket to the Tokyo Games right in his beloved Apulia. After his early beginnings in Salento, he soon debuted in the A1 division, where he has been pivotal to many successes with Trentino Volley before and with Perugia now. Since 2014, he has been the Italian National Team's starting libero, where he has proven to be a guarantee in the back row as well as a key locker room leader. Teammates consider him the rational member of the team, a concrete person capable of understanding the team’s set-pieces before and better than others. He is married to Marisa, and is father to Andrea, to whom he hopes to bring back a golden present from Japan.
