Biography
As a boy he played basketball, then at 14 he started going to the shooting range. His best weapon has always been the automatic pistol, a specialty in which since 2014 he has held the world record, established in Beijing in the World Cup. In Rio, when participating in the Games for the first time, he reached the final gaining sixth place. He has always tried to improve with time, with the aim of reappearing at the top of his form after four years, and his results approaching the big event have been continually improving, so much so that now he comes to the starting line on the back of the strong European title won last year in Bologna with which he also secured his place for Tokyo.
