Biography

Sheer talent and incredibly classy, he debuted in the National Team at eighteen. As a wonderkid, his talent and maturity on court were immediately jaw-dropping. He sporting career began in football, skiing and above all tennis, his father being a tennis coach. Volleyball came later. With the Italian National Team, he won a European Championship bronze medal, a World Cup silver medal and the Olympics silver medal at the 2016 Rio Games. Though playing in the most creative position, setters need to connect with their teammates and plenty of application. However, this has never been a problem to him: besides volleyball, he loves studying. He is taking a Nutrition Sciences degree in Milan and is an avid reader.
