Biography
She initially took up sport by swimming, but her coach advised her to make the most of her talent by switching to the multi-disciplinary pentathlon in order to prevent her passion for competition from waning. She qualified for Rio thanks to exponential growth and her place in the top ten at the European Championships in Bath, where she contributed to the team bronze medal. At her Olympic debut she finished in 8th place, the second best result ever for an Italian woman at the Games. Her idol is Federica Pellegrini, an inspiration and role model, but she also appreciates the qualities of Valentino Rossi. She enjoys shopping and relaxing with films, but travelling will always be her passion. She has the perfect passport to satisfy her desire to conquer the world.
