Biography
He is the Italian gorilla of karate, skilfully dominating on all the world stages. Now that his discipline has been included in the Olympic programme, at 33 years of age, in Tokyo the dream of his entire career will come true. For him, a native of Avola, karate is a family affair: his father Nello brought him up on tatami and took him to the top of the world; his sister Lorena is another multiple champion of the discipline like Laura Pasqua, his companion in life.
