Biography
At only 21 years of age, he won the gold medal at Rio 2016 with the perfect final, obtaining the second Olympic family medal 24 years after his father Bruno's bronze in Barcelona '92. After winning everything at junior level, he immediately managed to establish himself at the highest level, winning first the world bronze at Lonato in 2015 and then the Olympic title. The immediate successes, however, have not affected his determination and now, with an extra world gold on the bulletin board, the Tuscan defends that title in Tokyo with the will to win a new medal to dedicate to dad Bruno.
