Biography
Born in Rio de Janeiro, raised in Australia and now the captain of Settebello. Many lives for the international striker who at 37 has still much to say and to give to the national team, with whom he has won a silver and a bronze medal at the Games, as well as two World Championship gold medals and a European bronze. Water is the element of the family: before him, in fact, his father Jose was a Brazilian swimmer who succeeded in setting a world record in the 100m breaststroke. His Italian successes have been associated with Pro Recco, the team he played for 10 years and with which he won 7 championships and several international titles. His private life is also full of joy, dedicated to his wife Laura and their children Lorenzo and Matteo. In water polo, he loves physical contact and constant confrontation with opponents and, as a true professional, still has no intention of giving it up.
