Biography
He grew up in the youth ranks of Virtus Siena and made his debut in the starting line-up for the 2010/2011 season, playing in the Italian league previously known as Serie A Dilettanti. In the same year, he won the Italian LNP Cup with the Tuscans, becoming their MVP. Since June 2020, he's been playing for team Virtus Bologna, with which he won the Scudetto in the 2020/2021 season despite not making the play-offs due to an injury. With the National Team, he played in four editions of the European Youth Championships (U16´s in 2010, U18´s in 2011 and 2012, U20´s in 2012) and in 2011 he won the bronze medal in the FIBA 3x3 Under-18 World Cup. With the Senior National Team, Tessitori took part in the World Cup in 2019 held in China. He´s now living his five-ring adventure in Tokyo.
