Biography
Born in Yaoundé, to a Cameroonian father and a Venetian mother, Dal Molin arrived in Italy as a child to settle in Occimiano, in the province of Alessandria. He played basketball and volleyball, but, in a break from the championships, he got involved in athletics. Several injuries, such as a fracture of his left tibial malleolus in 2009, affected him until his recovery and progress in the latter part of 2011, after choosing to live mainly in Germany. 2013 was the season of the leap in his quality: winning silver and the Italian record in the 60 indoor obstacles (7.51) at the indoor European Championships in Gothenburg. In 2018, after three difficult years, he returned: at the European Championships in Berlin, he dropped to 13.40 in his battery in the 110 obstacles, the third Italian ever. In 2021, Italian primacy and Olympic pass. Passionate about combat sports: he has practised boxing and Thai boxing, including for athletic training.
